Apex is seeking an IT Systems Associate to assist the IT team. The IT Systems Associate will be directly responsible for end user support and assisting the IT team in high level operations. There is a tremendous amount of opportunity to learn and grow. The position involves very little travel and is located in Charlottesville, VA.
REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree or equivalent certifications
* The ability to adapt and problem solve quickly and efficiently
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* An aptitude to learn and the drive to succeed
* Experience with Server 2012 and virtualization is a plus
* Experience with network architecture is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support and maintain current infrastructure
* Analyze the business needs and recommend solutions
* Ensure consistency of current infrastructure by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards
* Execute tasks on time
* Maintain security and privacy of the information systems
* Manage servers, security, network hardware, and any other IT device associated
* End user support including desktops, laptops, tablets, phones and other devices
